This unique style of yoga is rooted in the foundations of Vinyasa and Yin yoga interwoven with the teachings of Chinese medicine’s channel and organ theory. A balancing sequence of fluid and active (yang) postures with subtle longer held (yin) postures are within each practice. Each class facilitates movement, breath awareness and intention to unwind blockages of tension from the muscles, fascia, organs, and energy channels. This practice offers space for the mind and an opportunity to get a felt sense experience the movement of Qi (energy) flowing harmoniously within. Intuitive movements are encouraged to honour the wisdom of the inner physician (or inner knowing) as well as one’s stage of life, female menstrual phase, and present moment state. Classes are seasonally aligned to harmonize with nature.

Hi, I’m Melody.

I’m a Chinese medicine doctor.

I center my treatments around the wisdom each person holds within their own body.

My practice is rooted in Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture and focuses on hormonal balance, digestion, mental health, pain, sports injury and trauma. I incorporate CranioSacral and Somatic Release into my work. In addition, I am trained in a diverse range of massage and yoga styles.

My practice focus is on supporting women in trusting their bodies and reclaiming their energy.

Through cyclical wisdom, harmonizing hormones, living meditation, and authentic movement. Rooted in the wisdom traditions of Chinese medicine, yoga, and feminine embodiment.

I guide women in all phases of life, from the onset of menstruation to menopause and beyond. I also treat men, children and babies.

Come home to the wisdom within.
